I am just about beside myself with excitement! Why? Are you wondering? It is because the Kids Ministry Resource that has been born out of the Upside-Down Kingdom book is now ready!

The Upside-Down Kingdom is the best children’s book I have ever read. It is a great tool to teach children, as it clearly teaches the Kingdom of God, who God is, and His relationship with us. It is biblically sound, and very well written. I have given it to other mothers and ministers and they love it, and as a result, have ordered more copies for their friends, relatives, and churches. It is also great for adults to read, and it leaves you looking forward to the next one. It is hard to put it down once you

The Upside-Down Kingdom, by Stephanie Jones, is an excellent book that teaches biblical principles to children. The Sunday School curriculum based on the book was used here at New Day Community Church with excellent success. Not only did the children love the story and the lessons, the teachers were excited about it and loved using this resource as well. My two boys still talk about things they learned in the lessons, and we used it nearly a year ago! This curriculum is excellent and is highly recommended.

The ministry guide has been designed as a teaching tool that works in conjunction with the reading of the Upside-Down Kingdom. It includes fun and dynamic week-by-week lesson outlines, providing the opportunity for more in-depth study and spiritual growth.
Each week, one chapter of the book (or occasionally two short chapters) will be read to the children.
This chapter(s) in turn becomes the parable for the day’s lesson. In this simple structure, we are reflecting one aspect of the ministry style of Jesus Himself.
The weekly lesson outline includes a biblical theme that can be taught based on the chapter for that week and a scripture or bible story to teach from.
Each lesson also includes an activation exercise.
