We believe that the church is going to be perfect…….one day….. We dream about a glorious church. We believe its happening. We want to nourish and cherish the church like Jesus does and see the local church fulfill its biblical mandate. We love to minister encouragement and to equip the church with the knowledge of God as Father and Christ as Bridegroom. We teach out of what God has shown us and the stories He is writing though our lives.
We received training at the Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship School of Ministry both as students and as staff. Scott is from Detroit, Michigan and Stephanie is originally from England, U.K. We met at TACF School of Ministry in Toronto, Canada, in 1998. We fell in love, trained and worked (in that order!). We recently finished a 7 year term as Associate Pastors at New Day Community Church, Kalamazoo MI. In September 2008 we relocated to Summerville SC in order to plant New day church SC - what an adventure! The church is growing and we are amazed to see what God has done.
About our family
We now reside in Summerville with our two sons, Samuel (6), Isaac (4), Lily (2) and baby Matilda. They are the joy of our life! We are learning more of the mysteries of God through our 4 year old son than we could have expected. Recently Sam said “Dady, you are big!” He paused. He thought “and I am little”. It is in moments like these that we truly understand the sentiments of child-like faith.
